About One Way Septic

Our Story

One Way Septic is a family-owned and operated septic and sewer company based in Acworth, Georgia. Our family has been in the septic business since 1953, starting with Jody Harrison’s grandfather, then his uncle, then his father, and now Jody, the fourth generation.

Jody grew up going to work with his family and learned the business without realizing it. As he got older he worked alongside his granddaddy and his daddy, and eventually saved up, bought his own truck, and started his own company. One Way Septic was started in 2018, and from day one it was Jody and Daisy working together. Jody ran the truck and Daisy answered the phone. With one truck and a small team, growing was slow, but as Jody’s kids got older they chose to join the business too. Nobody made them. They like running the equipment and running the trucks.

Today most of our team is family, and the rest are people we have trained and think of as our adopted family because they share the same morals and the same commitment to taking care of people.

Daisy Harrison, Co-Founder. Daisy has been part of One Way Septic since the day it started. She answered the phone when it was just the two of them, and Jody and Daisy have always run this business as a team.
